Key Responsibilities:

Project management, coordination, implementation and monitoring

Effective management, supervision and coordination of project activitiesMaintain quality implementation and monitoring of activitiesTimely coordination, consultation and communication with technical specialist and direct report to ensure smooth & quality implementation of the activities.Prudently manage project budget and financial compliance of the grant.

Representation & Networking

Representation and networking at donor meetings/joint agency assessments or studies and within communitiesDevelop and maintain links with NGO’s Local Level authoritiesDevelop and maintain donor relationship for adequate funding needs and discussions on utilization Coordinate and communicate donor visits efficiently with management and effectively host donor visits

High Quality of Documentation

Ensure reports are submitted in a timely manner meeting reporting requirementManage the coordination of project assessments and evaluationsPresent Regular progress reports at appropriate meeting’sSubmit monthly reports

Capacity & Team Management

Provide leadership to train and build field staff capacityTrain project staff on community mobilization and partners networking skills.Train project field staff on how to take good photos and write good field story/most significant change story.Train field staff on how to develop their monthly work planConduct monthly learning and reflection sessions

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION/SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree, Certification in Project Management Any knowledge in climate smart agriculture and horticulture is preferable.More than 3 years’ experience in project management is sufficient. 3-5 years experience in community development or in a relief and development setting with project management experience. Experience working and networking with partners in the Autonomous Region of Bougainville is a bonusExperience in project design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and report writing. Effective in written and oral communication; able to speak and write with a high standard of English.Good interpersonal skills and cross-cultural sensitivity. Computer Literate
