Its talented Imagineers create -from concept initiation through installation - all Disney Resorts, theme parks and attractions, real estate developments, regional entertainment venues, and new media projects.
The Project Coordinator Senior supports the Digital Producer and/or Assistant Digital Producer with the design and production of digital visualization and digital media elements throughout a project’s life-cycle up through and including Final Installation and Delivery. This role provides visual effects production and digital workflow understanding, forward-thinking logistics planning, and detail-oriented, organizational support.
This role is an integral member of the digital production team and is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and facilitation of multiple necessary and significant tasks inclusive of creating shot breakdown sheets, organizing and tracking visual effects live- action plates, CG assets, and shot data in Shotgun, communicating with vendors and other digital disciplines on delivery information, managing artist assignments, note-taking, and vendor i/o validation. This role is also responsible for scheduling the work sessions and creative reviews needed for media approvals, and for coordinating the digital deliverables required for these sessions in service of the overall show milestones.
This position requires solid communication abilities, interpersonal skills, and producorial instincts working with artists, vendors, technical programmers, engineers, creative directors, and senior management. The Project Coordinator Senior may also act as the Assistant Digital Producer as needed. This position requires the ability to be flexible and proactive, take direction well, and present a positive image for the team - seeking mentorship, guidance and insight as needed.
**What You Will Do:**
+ Update and maintain the Digital Arts Studio Shotgun project - inclusive of artist assignments, task status, artist notes, scene and setup details, and media ingest records to ensure the data, schedule dates, and pertinent information are accurate
+ Create shots breakdown sheets of the creative content for the Digital Producer for bidding and updating shot status using department templates
+ Track asset and visual media clip licensing for clearance approval by the Studio Legal department
+ Enter, tracks, and analyzes weekly data on financials for multiple projects using department templates for the Digital and/or Media Producer
+ Coordinate invitees for digital meetings, work sessions, and reviews to ensure critical parties can attend, and raises issues with solutions to the Digital Producer as needed
+ Download Dailies, creates playlists in Shotgun and Cinesync, and works with the vendor on assets and multi-week deliveries
+ Demonstrate in-depth understanding of visual effects workflow inclusive of live action plate processing, CG, and compositing workflows when taking notes and dialoguing about processes clearly and concisely with producers and digital artists
+ Ensure the digital artists have access to the assets and files they need from the different show disciplines and from outside vendors
+ Coordinate inputs, tracks action items, and communicate updates to project team members regarding visualization changes with direction from the Digital Producer, Digital Supervisor, Pipeline Developer, and BIM Manager
+ Schedule artist rounds for the Digital Supervisor and documents action items in Shotgun
+ Prepare digital delivery packages for reviews and turnovers with direction from the Digital Supervisor – inclusive of assembling assets for presentations, compressing digital files for web sharing, and watermarking media as needed
+ Coordinate Digital Arts Studio needs for mockups and field testing – inclusive of scheduling, documenting action items, and driving follow-up communication
+ Strategize with the Digital Producer and Media Producer on preparation for Installation, inclusive of building and tracking the trip schedule with start/end dates, purchasing expendables to support the team, supporting technical playback of the media, and troubleshooting issues as they arise
+ Facilitate on-lining and off-lining of digital deliveries including quality-controlling the deliveries and prioritizing early versions that can be backed up and archived as new ones arrive
+ Communicate clearly and respectfully with the artistic and technical teams, and with senior production and project leadership
+ Demonstrate excellent meeting-facilitation, presentation, and collaboration skills to ensure production team members are aligned on project objectives
+ Communicate respectfully with vendors regarding deliveries to alleviate issues with Aspera transfer challenges, corrupt frames, naming conventions, and other I/O related needs
**Required Qualifications and Skills:**
+ Minimum 5 years related experience - leadership experience, film/theater production, engineering, construction, project controls, or other Disney/Themed Entertainment projects
+ Experience coordinating in a creative and digital pipeline inclusive of scheduling, digital asset management, CG pipeline experience and toolset understanding
+ Understanding of live action and digital media technologies, processes, toolsets, vocabulary, and production pipelines
+ Solid written and verbal communication, presentation, and articulation skills. Ability to grasp and explain digital concepts and workflows to a variety of audiences
+ Collaborative work ethic to adhere to direction, manage under pressure, prioritize multiple tasks, and maintain a positive outlook for the team
+ Proven Leadership experience required
+ Gaming industry coordination or management a plus
**Education:**
+ Strongly prefer a bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Theater, Environmental Design, or other Entertainment or Development-related field.
+ Consideration will be made for those with more than 10 years experience and/or are working toward a Degree
**Software:**
+ Proficient in: MS Office, MS Project, Powerpoint or Keynote, Shotgun, Cinesync, Outlook, Google tools, Photoshop
+ Understanding of 2D and 3D software and design packages such as: Sketch Up, Maya, Revit, Rhino, Solidworks, Unreal, Unity, and Motionbuilder.
