Overview

To manage and supervise the work performed by employees, ensuring that the daily workflow of all incoming requests is effectively assigned and maintained. This includes monitoring workloads, turnaround times, quality, and developmental needs to enhance employee retention and improve satisfaction among both internal and external customers. Develop analytics to assess changes in workflows and predict future workloads and customer behavior. Seek opportunities for continuous process improvement and generate ideas to enhance or streamline operations. Oversee audits conducted by both internal and external auditors by reviewing data and validating accuracy. Utilize the insights gained from audits to improve process documentation and provide training as necessary.

Responsibilities

- Analyze fluctuations in volume levels to effectively coordinate work assignments. 

- Ensure timely completion of work queue turnaround times. 

- Supervise staff to ensure tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

- Overcome challenges and defuse conflict.

- Continually improve knowledge on system functionality, HireRight products, audit requirements and industry changes.

- Proactively identify and address departmental concerns. 

- Communicate and disseminate information through various channels, including emails, departmental meetings, and monthly metrics reports. 

- Provide management with recommendations regarding staffing and propose process improvement initiatives to enhance the overall success of HireRight. 

- Ensure that all procedures related to the teams are documented and stored on appropriate department determined repository.  

- Engage with various departments and management as needed to enhance daily workflow and enhance work efficiency.

- Responsibilities may shift as team grows and/or automates processes.

- Represent team in both internal and external meetings as needed.

Qualifications

- Identify employees who may not be meeting performance expectations and establish a plan for improvement or necessary actions if appropriate.

- Schedule regular one-on-one meetings with all team members to strengthen individual relationships and address any concerns.

- Ensure consistent communication during team meetings and provide periodic updates on business developments.

- Conduct annual performance appraisals in alignment with the company's established timeline to facilitate employee growth.

- Encourage the professional development of direct reports by identifying areas for improvement and providing necessary coaching and support.

- Establish challenging yet attainable goals and objectives for employees, accompanied by clear benchmarks for evaluation.

- Clearly articulate how individual goals contribute to the broader objectives and strategic vision of the team and organization.

- Motivate and support team members in reaching their performance targets.

- Address any corrective actions or disciplinary matters in a professional and appropriate manner.

- Foster a healthy and positive workplace environment to enhance team morale.

- Participate in the recruitment process for Implementation Specialists and coordinate training for new employees to ensure their successful onboarding.

- Offer direction and support to employees as required.

- Acknowledge and reward employees for outstanding performance.

 

 

EDUCATION

High School diploma or GED required.

 

EXPERIENCE

3+ years of industry experience or leadership experience preferred.
