Project Cost Accounting Process Analyst

Our team in Corporate Group is looking for a Project Cost Accounting Process Analyst to join them. You will report to the Workstream Lead for Government Cost Accounting and will have a hybrid work schedule in East Aurora, NY.

 

You will learn existing Moog Systems and Processes and with the goal of designing and developing performance enhancements in SAP S/4 HANA. You will work with users of the current ERP systems, other members of the SAP Implementation Team, and outside consultants to build, test and share outputs. Upon completion of the working process template, you will support the roll out of SAP into Moog sites across the globe; this includes user training, troubleshooting, and resolving issues that arise as each site goes live.

 

To be considered for the Project Cost Accounting Process Analyst role, here’s what you’ll typically need to bring with you:

Bachelor's degree in a Technical or Business discipline 7+ years of experience in a cost accounting role with exhibited leadership in a functional area. Ability to explain organizational goals to others and put into context of their own objectives.

 

As a Project Cost Accounting Process Analyst, you will:

Monitor process quality and efficiency by ensuring staff is observing standard work agreements. Lead and support Business Process Implementation efforts, designing and delivering optimal solutions. Learn existing Moog processes and put them into S/4 HANA: documenting requirements, design, testing, and development of assigned part of the SAP solution. Be responsible for escalation of risks and issues to the GBPO to include recommendations on process designs, test execution results, and go-live requirements. Produce data validation, test scenarios, cases, script writing, and troubleshooting to include research, evaluation, and implementation of solutions through hands-on impediment and bug resolution, FSD writing, CRD review and PFL/PDD writing. Work closely with external consultants and Moog partners through the SAP Transformation and multiple rollouts to understand and address needs across the organization. Produce, deliver, and maintain training content for end-users while providing continued support for sites already in production. Be a change-agent throughout the SAP Transformation; learning and applying Lean/Continuous Improvement skills and behaviors. Support business travel up to 10% for site implementation, training, and hyper care. Support overtime as required to ensure business initiatives are met.

The base pay range for this opportunity is $106,724.80 - $125,000.00 per year.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
