What You’ll Be Doing

Infrastructure, Architecture & Modernization plays a critical role in how we run the bank, growing our worldwide competitive advantage with exceptional partnerships and client experience. The Project Delivery Director is a seasoned professional responsible for leading a team of business project managers to complete projects involving several departments, establishing overall goals and objectives for the team, and prioritizing initiatives and resources as per overall business objectives. The role applies leadership skills and technical expertise to develop detailed business cases outlining goals, terms of reference and resource requirements, including a detailed cost-benefit analysis. The Project Delivery Director exercises a high degree of independent judgement to develop and implement processes for projects, ensuring consistency with organizational objectives and quality standards. The role recommends policy and procedures related modifications to direct the entire project life cycle and monitor progress against plans, ensuring that stakeholders are actively engaged in the delivery of project objectives. The role drives innovation across all areas of responsibility, applying expert interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Must have knowledge of Capital Markets and Wealth Management. Experience working with Broadridge or enterprise payments is an asset.

How You’ll Succeed

Strong Leadership:  Be a bold and authentic leader who is passionate about developing and coaching to bring out the best in people.  Direct, motivate, develop and manage performance of a diverse group of people including collaboration and influencing partners and stakeholders.Strategic Development & Execution: Oversee the day to day project or program activities of highly complex projects following  project performance standards. Perform tactical and strategic business planning and return on investment analysis. Lead staff in initiating, planning, executing, control and close out of projects. Oversee the management of statements of work, contracts, project financials and administration as well as managing risk items within normal challenges of projects.Relationship Management: Maintain relationships with business leaders to identify project needs and align delivery services to support solutioning and fulfillment of those needs. Ensure staff are viewed as valuable partners to the business.

Who You Are

You can demonstrate experience leading teams of project delivery professions in transformational change.  You have experience managing demanding clients, multiple priorities, getting results in a matrixed environment where you may not have direct influence on all project resources. Must have previous experience establishing and maintaining stakeholder and sponsor relationships. You should have experience in the financial services industry, and in particular knowledge in Payments would be a significant differentiator.You embrace and champion change.
