Project Delivery Director - Business Strategy & Transformation - 1898 & Co.
**Description** 1898 & Co. seeks its next leader within our Business Strategy & Transformation to develop and lead high-performing teams of consultants and subject matter experts. As a Project Delivery Director, you will be responsible for the managerial and leadership direction of consulting teams providing strategy, operational excellence, and program and change management services. You will help our leaders develop and execute the department’s business strategy, recruit and develop high-performing teams, and guide the development of transformation approaches and frameworks for large and complex client initiatives. + Manage and mentor teams of engagement managers, consultants, and subject matter experts and provide QA for their work and deliverables. + Maintain an executive presence with the client’s project leadership. + Direct training and development programs for analysts, consultants, and engagement managers. + Develop and establish best practices for project delivery and foster a culture to continuously improve approaches, frameworks, and tools. + Partner with business development and other business leaders on client engagement strategies, proposals, and thought leadership. + Implement, apply and support company, global practice and/or regional office programs and initiatives; successfully navigating and managing change. + Achieve stated targets and standards for financial performance. + Recruitment, development, and retention of staff. + Responsible for interpreting the organization's policies, purposes and goals to staff. + Responsible for overall QA/QC process adherence. + Ensure compliance with company and safety policies. + Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. + Other duties as assigned. **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, business or a related degree from an accredited program and 13 years of related professional experience. + Minimum of 6 years in delivering client-facing consulting services for the energy & utilities or similar critical infrastructure sectors is preferred. + At least 4 years managing consulting project teams comprised of consultants, technologists, and subject matter experts is preferred. + Demonstrated experience leading large, complex, multi-workstream programs for the energy and utility clients + Demonstrated skill in recommending and implementing solutions with utility, critical infrastructure, and related clients. + Must possess strong people management skills, interpersonal skills, project management experience, and a strategic perspective. + Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and ensure client satisfaction and project success + Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients. + Ability to thoughtfully and positively influence, lead, and manage change. + Must be proficient in computer software (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
