At AstraZeneca the Workforce Insights & Analytics Team sit within the Global Business Services function as part of the Global Analytics Team. We support the HR function as our customer group, providing both partnering services and project delivery.
As a Project Delivery Lead you will be responsible for overseeing the end to end delivery of HR projects. Leading a team of Business Analysts you will work closely with senior stakeholders to define their requirements and turn them into high quality products which provide valuable insights. Additionally, you will be able to establish a pipeline of activities, clearly prioritised and governed; constantly reviewing potential technology solutions to ensure the most appropriate tools are used to deliver this pipeline.
Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
This position will provide the link between the business, GBS Analytics and IT.
You will be responsible for project delivery working with a team of Business Analysts to understand stakeholders data requirements and turning these requirements into automated outputs
You will need to coordinate the work to be allocated to sprints and lead the team to refine, prioritize and manage the backlog to best achieve the goals and vision
You will be able to manage multiple customers and clearly communicate project delivery plans, cost estimations and progress updates
Essential Skills and Experience
Experience of project delivery using Agile project methodologies
Understanding of Data Analytics, data modelling and working with large data sets outside excel, as well as scripting eg VBA, SQL, etc
Experience of data visualisation software
Strong interpersonal skills, able to quickly build relationships with customers
Reputation of delivering projects on time and to a high standard
Experience coordinating team of Engineers/Analysts/Developers
Experience defining project requirements and establishing estimations for cost/timelines
Candidates must have a solid understanding of PBI
Desirable Skills and Experience
Prior experience working with HR data (Workforce, Recruitment, Reward, Learning, Succession etc)
Experience of working within a global organisation, preferably within the Pharmaceuticals sector
