Project Delivery Support Specialist (CAHSR)
Fluor is seeking candidates for opportunities within our Program Delivery Support (PDS) team, working alongside the California High-Speed Rail Authority, to provide program delivery and program management services for one of the largest planned infrastructure projects in the U.S.

The system will connect the 500-mile stretch between the Los Angeles region with the San Francisco Bay Area, with up to 24 stations. The first phase of the program is currently under construction in California’s Central Valley.

In collaboration with the PDS and CHSRA teams the project delivery support Assistant Project Manager will serve a pivotal role in supporting and coordinating activities related to alternative project delivery support and development. This role sits within the Contract Management Branch and supports Authority’s project delivery teams.

• Provide project management support within the alternative delivery environment to support Authority future procurements and contracts by facilitating solutions, monitoring deliverables, and tracking schedules.
• Responsible for managing and coordinating the development of key documents, procedures, and manuals to support the management of alternative delivery methods, including but not limited to:
o An alternative delivery manual for the Authority to use as guidance in the management Construction Manager General Contract (CMGC) and Progressive Design Build (PDB).
o Development of a delegation of authority for CMGC and PDB in discussion/coordination with Authority Stakeholders (e.g. Legal); and
o An alternative delivery manual for the construction manager to use for CMGC and PDB contractors during construction.
• Coordinate actions and deliverables at the direction of the Procurement Support Advisor.
• Act as a liaison between the Contract Management Branch, Rail and Operations Branch, Infrastructure Delivery Branch, and other stakeholders.
• Support/Oversee rail infrastructure projects through all stages of procurement, design, construction, and close-out; coordinates project management responsibilities, reviews project progress, identifies deficiencies and opportunities, and recommends solutions.
• Be a trusted partner and advisor to the Authority.
• Other related responsibilities as assigned.
