We are seeking a Project Design Engineer II to join our dynamic team. Duties and Responsibilities 

Design and layout of mechanical systems, including:HVAC: ductwork, hydronic systems, air distribution, ventilation, and controlsPlumbing: domestic water, sanitary, storm, and specialty systemsProcess Piping: chemical, gas, compressed air, and other utility pipingDevelop engineering calculations including load estimates, pressure drops, and pipe/duct sizingPrepare construction documents, including plans, details, and specificationsCoordinate designs with other engineering disciplines, architects, and contractorsConduct site visits and surveys to document existing conditions and support constructionSupport project submittal reviews, RFIs, and field coordination during construction administrationEnsure designs follow applicable codes, standards (ASHRAE, IPC, IMC, NFPA), and client requirementsAssist in the preparation of proposals, cost estimates, and project schedulesParticipate in quality assurance and peer review processes

Qualifications 

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution1-4 years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, and/or process piping system designProficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit; experience with BIM coordination is preferredWorking knowledge of applicable codes and standards (ASHRAE, UPC/IPC, IMC, NFPA)Experience with load calculation and system modeling software (e.g., Trane Trace, Energy Pro) is a plusStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
