Project Designer
Summary

Reporting to the Manager, Design, The CADWorx Project Designer is responsible for developing detailed engineering models and drawings for modular process, compression and power generation packages in a plant environment. As a member of a Custom Project Team in a fast paced, time sensitive manufacturing environment, the ideal candidate will work as a Project Designer executing all aspects of project design.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties Use of AutoCAD 2020, CADWorx 2020 Plant 3D design software and Navisworks 2020 Create complex plant and modular process and compression models. Generate piping isometric drawings using Isogen. Produce detailed design drawings of structural skids, General arrangements, and various production deliverables. Qualifications Diploma or Certificate from accredited Post-Secondary Institute (SAIT, NAIT, etc) – Engineering Design and Drafting of Process Piping Drafting program. 5 years + of Project Design related experience – Fabrication experience is preferred. Experience with Project Design of Sweetening Units, Refrigeration Systems, Fractionation Units, Drier Systems and Gas Plant Design is an asset. Understanding of Project P&ID development. Experience with AutoCAD Release 2017 or greater Efficiency with CADWorx Plant Pro piping design software is a must. Excellent time management, organization and communication skills Demonstrated focus on quality, accuracy and thoroughness. A results-oriented attitude with solid analytical, critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities. Flexibility in work hours to accommodate the project schedules.

 

Candidate must be able to work in a customer centered team environment. Focus is on projects being accurate, complete and timely.
