JOB DESCRIPTION: Project Designer - Mechanical Designer Job Summary The Designer must be an expert in mechanical design, precise, methodical, and with good problem-solving and management skills in terms of timing and achievement of goals. The person will be included within the Engineering Team and will be responsible for the design, from the analysis of the technical project specifications, 3D modeling of components and assemblies, drafting of the bill of materials and project documentation such as 2D drawings, operating instructions, control plans, DFMEA, PFMEA, FCIL, REACH, Tech OIL, Planning. Profile capable of self-organizing one's work and working in a team. Have excellent computer skills in programs such as Office and 3D modeling, with mastery of both written and oral English/French. Tasks Analysis of project technical specifications and standards references 3D and 2D modeling Drafting Bills of Material and Configuration Management Drafting Project Documentation Design, feasibility, and industrialization checks Study and analysis of new technical, technological, and material solutions Support to the functional areas involved in the development of the project Support for project validation Requirements Previous experience in mechanical design, especially on Solid Edge, Solid Works, and Catia V5 software Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering Good Knowledge of Office software Analytical and synthesis skills Fluent English Previous work experience in a metalworking context Ability to work in a team, time management and achievement of goals Comfortable with figures and in collecting, analyzing and interpreting data.
