Project Developer – Wind Energy – Germany

As a Project Developer, you will play a key role in identifying, developing, and delivering wind energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate potential sites for wind energy projects. Manage the permitting process, ensuring compliance with local and national regulations. Collaborate with landowners, communities, and stakeholders to secure land agreements and build support for projects. Coordinate with technical teams to assess feasibility, including wind resource analysis and grid connection. Prepare and manage project timelines, budgets, and risk assessments. Negotiate with suppliers, contractors, and partners to secure project resources. Represent the company in public hearings, community meetings, and industry events.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in renewable energy, environmental studies, engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in project development within the renewable energy sector, preferably wind energy. Strong understanding of the permitting and regulatory landscape in Germany. Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects remotely. Fluency in German (required) and English (preferred).
