Foth Production Solutions, LLC is currently seeking a team-focused, innovative, and results-oriented Project Electrical and Controls Engineer who has a desire to contribute to our clients’ success and is looking for new learning experiences and opportunities for career growth. This position will be working out of our Mehoopany, PA location.Primary Responsibilities: Work at an on-site manufacturing environment to support plant operations and engineering initiativesHardware and software engineering for new and retrofit industrial projects and electrical systems including low voltage (600 VAC) power distribution, network communications, line control, and motion controlProgramming, design, and updating of PLC, HMI, VFD, and Servo Motion related projects from hardware design, software integration through construction support and project start-upSpecification of components to achieve client requestsModifications or upgrades to existing control systems as specified by the clientDirect designer level resourcesProvide installation and start up support, could include nights and weekendsWork simultaneously on multiple projects and client teamsWork directly with client to resolve conflicts and strengthen the Foth-Client relationshipRequired Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience8+ years of recent experience with specifying, installing, and troubleshooting machine and process controls systemsRequired Recent Experience with the Following: Rockwell Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk View HMI systemsLow voltage (up to 600 VAC) power distribution systems with exposure to facilities electrical systems including: HVAC, lighting, power, communications, security, fire, supervisory systems, transformers, panel boards, grounding systems, capacitor banks, etc.Ethernet and/or ControlNet communicationsVFD and motor controlNEC/NFPA 79 Electrical StandardsPreferred Qualifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain5+ years of industry-relevant experienceGeneral machine safety experiencePreferred Recent Experience with the Following:Rockwell variable frequency and servo drivesDistributed Controls Systems (DCS)Honeywell Experion configuration/programmingHistorian Product programming experience (Wonder Ware, Intellution, Proficy)Motor Control Center (MCC) specification and designMedium voltage (up to 15 kV) power distribution systemsRoboticsVision SystemsNetworkingHazardous area classificationCopy/paste the video link below in a new browser to watch/learn more about the Electrical and Controls Engineer role at Foth:
