Aurecon plays a critical role in partnering with our client to ensure that the project’s battery OEM (Tesla) and the EPC contractor are delivering to quality specifications and standards. The site representative role will be based in Collie and engage daily on site with the site manager and construction team.
The role is a 38-hour week baseline, with overtime allowed for. There are additional benefits including accommodation and access to a vehicle.
The key tasks that Aurecon’s site representative will undertake will include:Management of inspections, liaising with Aurecon SMEs as required to ensure site attendanceUndertake or manage the completion of all Inspections and certification tasksCoordinate with back-office to ensure inspections are undertaken with specialist experts as requiredContractor engagementMaintain good working relationship with Contractors and all subcontractors on siteReview and comment on the Contractors’ monthly and weekly reportsReview of Contractors’ monthly project schedules and confirming correctness of progress and correctness of sequence of proposed activitiesNot to interfere with the construction works unless in case of imminent WHSE concernWHSEHelp ensure the adherence of WHSE requirements of the Project, always leading by example in WHSE complianceReport and help ensure all site personnel report accidents and near missesReportingAttend and contribute to pre-starts and toolboxes on siteAd hoc reporting (verbal or written if required) to client as requiredKeep records of meetings. Write and manage detailed meeting minutes ensuring correctness of recordsRecord and keep photographic evidence of all site activitiesMaintain complaints and stakeholder register, taking ownership over landowner, community, indigenous and other stakeholder matters with support of the Contractors where required.Facilities installation & levelling:Confirming that site preparation has been completed as per the construction drawings, being land clearing, small construction roads, heavy construction roads and laydown areaEquipment installation inspection, confirming installation within specified conditions and tolerancesEquipment inspection at delivery, confirming that equipment is available on siteInspections (by Site Rep or SMEs as required) and sign joint site inspection reports for monthly payment milestonesPerformance Guarantees including:Minimum Real Power Output Capacity GuaranteeMinimum Energy Discharge Capacity Guarantee, andRound Trip Efficiency Guarantee,Validation of Mechanical Completion (Payment Milestone)Validation of Practical Completion, including issue of Defect Lists (Punch list)Ready to bring ideas to life?Then please apply.
