Ware Malcomb is hiring a Project Engineer to join our Civil Engineering team in our office in Oak Brook, IL!

Project Engineers are responsible for assisting the Project Manager in the successful management of multiple site development projects. This includes budgeting, scheduling, contract document preparation, design calculations, code searches and construction administration services.   Project Engineer Responsibilities:Work with the project team to prepare technical drawings (Site Plans, Grading Plans, Utility Plans, Erosion Control Plans, and Stormwater Management Design) for use in permitting and construction.Provide construction services. Prepare stormwater calculations, assist in completing permits.Assist in reviewing local, county, state, and federal project codes for each project.Work with the Ware Malcomb consultants and the client's consultants to coordinate all of the various consultants to achieve a complete, coordinated set of contract documents and specifications which will be used for permit and construction.Project Engineer Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required.Engineer-in-training status is required.A PE (Professional Engineering) license is preferred.4+ years of experience working on land/site development civil projects.Experience using Autodesk Civil 3D, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project, and Excel.Strong computer, written, and verbal communication skills are essentialAbility to speak (public speaking) in front of small to large groups is preferredEstablished in 1972, Ware Malcomb is a contemporary and expanding full service design firm providing professional architecture, planning, interior design, civil engineering, branding and building measurement services to corporate, commercial/residential developer and public/institutional clients throughout the world.
