The Project Engineer works with the project team in various activities related to the successful completion and delivery of the program and project objectives. This includes, but not limited to: Surveying and field data collection, pre-construction services, construction oversight, and project closeout. This position is located onsite at Ft. Jackson, SC. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: + Review construction documentation including drawings, schedules, scopes and reports to assist the Project Team in achieving Project Objectives. + Assist the Project Team with on-site review of construction progress against project schedule. + Assist Project Manager with monitoring and reporting on project work in the field. + Assist Project Team with project reporting and documentation requirements. + Assist in preparation of tracking and status reports. + Attend project meetings under supervision of the Project Team as required. + Independently conducts punch-list inspections, field surveys and other site visits under the direction of the Project Team. + Proactively communicates project related issues directly with Project Team + Follows established standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation. + Learn project management skills through exposure to projects and programs. + Under the supervision of the Project Management Team, supports the development and growth of effective relationships with customers, design team, subcontractors, suppliers, and user groups that reflect and support company core values and meets or exceeds the customer-s expectations. + Meeting/exceeding internal and external customer expectations. Qualifications: + Minimum 4-year degree in an accredited construction related program or equivalent; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. + Demonstrated skills in on site residential construction management. + Experience in multi-site projects preferred. + Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents. + Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries. + Strong ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of the project team including management, project management, clients, client-s organization, contractors, and vendors. + Knowledge or proficiency of various Programs and Applications related to the work such as Smart Sheet, Microsoft Dynamics, Replicon, Panatour, Box, etc. Work Conditions: + 100% on-site at Ft. Jackson + Travel required on an as-needed basis + Multi-shift work may be required to accomplish work in active retail locations to meet aggressive schedules. Why Join Sevan? Pay & Benefits: The anticipated compensation range for the position is $70,000 - $75,000 is based on a full-time schedule, market and business conditions, and is commensurate on individual education, qualifications, and experience.
