Our engineering team is currently engaged in a variety of municipal projects, including roadway widening and restoration, intersection improvements, signature and festival streets, downtown revitalization, sidewalk and bicycle facilities, trails and parks, surface water collection and treatment, low-impact development (LID) improvements, and water and sewer system replacements.\n

We're looking for a candidate who brings not only a strong educational foundation and relevant experience, but also a collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for contributing to both ongoing and upcoming projects. This is a great opportunity to support innovative work while playing a key role in larger, integrated project efforts. As an interdisciplinary design firm, our engineers work alongside professionals across multiple disciplines on a wide range of exciting projects.\n

Responsibility Highlights for our Civil Project Engineer\n\nDesign of transportation and utility related municipal projects using Civil3D\nLead project design groups and project meetings\nProvide direction and mentorship for emerging professionals and direct the work of subconsultants\nPrepare, or assist in the preparation of, Plans, Specifications, and Estimates\nMaintain and oversee the development of project plans, specifications, quantities and cost estimates\nAssign tasks to and oversee work of design engineers, technicians, or administrative staff\n\n

Minimum Qualifications to be our Civil Project Engineer\n\nBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering\nProfessional Engineer (PE) License in Washington\n5+ years of progressively responsible professional experience in civil engineering\n\n

Preferred Qualifications for our Civil Project Engineer\n\nExperience in writing reports, performing technical design, preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates, project scheduling, and proposal writing \nExperience working with local Puget Sound municipalities and special purpose districts\n\n
