Project Engineer

We are hiring a Project Engineer to work in our Asian plant in Robbinsville, NJ. This role leverages prior experience to support multiple, large-scale initiatives to execute complex capital projects within a specific platform or manufacturing site. You would lead the development of fully executable projects and act as a resource from the conceptual phase though execution and commissioning. You will also align internal & external teams in supporting the annual capital plan(s) of our businesses. 

Responsibilities:Provide project management services for assigned engineering projects typically related to infrastructure, utilities, grounds, and building (not generally related to production equipment itself).Develop overall project design including line specification, project budgets, schedules, project justification and manage capital requests, including cash-flow forecasts.Coordinate external engineering services and partners with internal teams as needed for successful project completion.Provide specifications, bid preparation, and bid solicitation to secure best pricing.Identify and manage capital and related expenses, optimum layout, equipment selection and timeline.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (ABET accredited program preferred).2+ years of demonstrated successful project management support on multi-unit operation projects ranging up to $1M of capital spend.Demonstration of project management leadership, problem-solving, decision making, trouble-shooting, communications, and interpersonal skills. Showing desire to involve operators and mechanics in the project process.Ability to train maintenance and production personnel as well as plan and execute work with maintenance and vendors.Ability to effectively use a CAD System as well as full understanding of drawing/drifting practices, utilize engineering standards of design, construction and installation.Must have basic knowledge of processing, packaging & facility systems along with working knowledge of food manufacturing, engineering, quality, and research functions. 

Compensation and Benefits: 

The base salary range for this position is $73,500 to $122,500 annually with eligibility for a 10% annual incentive bonus that is based on organizational performance. The pay range represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to education, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
