This role is responsible for the development, management, and implementation of projects and engineering activities in connection with physical and technical aspects of the plant facilities operations, maintenance and improvements.
Summary of Responsibilities
Analyzes electrical and mechanical engineering sketches/schematics
Responsible for preparing and leading major electrical projects
Develops, implements and prioritizes projects with an emphasis on meeting strategic goals and needsConducts investigations of new and proposed equipment, materials and processes, provides independent evaluations and recommendations for proposed actionsDetermines performance gaps through data collection and analysis, maintains and continually increases technical competencyEvaluates purchased engineering services regarding to quality, accuracy, timeliness and costInteracts with customers, suppliers and other departments, provides technical expertise to achieve continuous improvementConducts safety and quality audits, documents conditions and improvement activitiesOther duties as assigned
