Project Engineer
Job Title: Project Engineer Job Description We are seeking a Project Engineer to assist the Project Manager on-site with various activities including scheduling, attending client meetings, writing purchase orders, procuring materials, and occasionally engaging in design tasks. Responsibilities + Assist the Project Manager with scheduling and coordination of project timelines. + Attend meetings with clients to ensure project objectives are met. + Write and manage purchase orders for procurement of materials. + Coordinate and procure necessary materials for project execution. + Engage in minor design activities as needed. Essential Skills + Proficiency in project management and coordination. + Experience in industrial or manufacturing engineering. + Experience in mechanical engineering and project engineering. + Understanding of CAPEX and project timelines. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with a couple of years of experience in an industrial setting. + Interest in Construction Management graduates, though a learning curve is expected. + Experience with AutoCAD is beneficial but not mandatory. + Familiarity with PLC/Controls is advantageous. Work Environment The role is based in a loud indoor manufacturing site where weekend, holiday, and plant shutdown work is expected. Employees working both days of the weekend are typically allowed to take a couple of days off during the week. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
