The Opportunity:
As a Project Engineer you will be responsible for coordinating the planning, organizing, and completion of capital projects.

Support and foster safety and environmental complianceUnderstand safe designs, safe work practices, and safe work environmentsEvaluate the performance of mechanical systems to determine the best option for replacement.Develop capital CFR documents for the capital approval processImplement capital projects on time and within budgetControl project costs by developing bid packages, monitoring expenditures, and administering contractsEstablish project schedules by studying specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elementsResponsible for construction oversight during implementation phases of on-site constructionPartner with operations, E&I, and Mechanical Maintenance to understand all processes and how teams and individuals are involved and impacted at each stepWhat you will need to succeed:
Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering; mechanical or chemical engineering preferredStrong Fiberline and Waste Treatment experience preferredMust have 5 years of experience in a project, operations, or maintenance engineering role Experience with SAP preferredStrong problem-solving and process-analysis skills to evaluate data and make decisions to drive process improvements through capital upgradesPossess effective communication skills to clearly convey project-related data to operations, maintenance, and management Proven track record of collaboration within cross-functional teams Work experience in the paper industry or similar industry preferredWhat we offer:
