Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry-Level Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate can have either a college education or relevant field experience. Initially, you will be involved in an interior remodel of a school, followed by the construction of a brand-new school starting in April 2025 after the demolition of the old building. You will collaborate closely with the Assistant Project Manager to manage all typical Project Engineer responsibilities.
ResponsibilitiesAssist in project planning and schedulingCoordinate with subcontractors and suppliersMonitor project progress and report updatesEnsure compliance with safety regulations and quality standardsPrepare and review project documentationSupport the Assistant Project Manager in daily tasksTroubleshoot and resolve project-related issuesConduct site inspections and ensure adherence to project specificationsEssential SkillsBachelor's degree in Construction Management or similar field, or 5+ years of construction field leadership experienceProficient with technologyComfortable on construction sites (internship or job experience of any type)Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with all divisions/new buildsExperience with K12 constructionConstruction management experienceMultifamily construction experience is acceptableWork Environment
In office but mostly on site 5 days a week, 40-45 hours per week. Cell phone provided. Federal mileage rate reimbursement for work-related travel (when necessary) $0.67 for 2024. Tablet provided, laptop from our client, and laptop from joint venture partner. Inclusive environment with a focus on intentional career development.
