Position summary:

Demonstrate a strong ability to bring teams together to achieve project targets and goals. They will be accountable for Project Management spanning bid proposal through delivery to customer. The project and proposal portfolio are prioritized to meet market expectations, project budget, on time delivery, and business profit. This role spans the global hydrogen and helium market segments for cryogenic storage and transportation equipment.

Ensuring a product portfolio that meets market needs is critical to long term business profitability and market share. The selected individual will execute projects during a unique time in global market dynamics.

Dimensions:

Highly cross functional, requiring effective relationships and influence within Gardner and in the greater Air Products organization in order to achieve results

Ability to communicate at all levels and demonstration of Ethical practice

Drives innovation and comfortable with “white space” projects

Strong project management skill to handle multiple priorities to achieve on time delivery and Project budget

Principal accountabilities:

Uphold Air Products safety philosophy for both the workplace and projects.

Work with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing and vendors to produce delivery on schedule and on budget monitoring progress and performance

Ensure all changes are handled in accordance with the project procedures and is responsible for the whole lessons learned process

Plan and lead projects to ensure completion of the project as efficiently as possible.

Evaluate and seek required approval for changes that substantially impact the scope, budget, or schedule of a project.

Prepare monthly/quarterly spend analysis. Provide current financial information and trend log regarding potential impacts to project budget or forecast.

Project build as well as project closure in SAP

Minimum requirements and qualifications:

BS or MS, preferably in Engineering.

5+ years’ Experience in Project and proposal management.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Self-motivated and ability drive success
