Your Role
As a Project Engineer, you will lead and execute capital projects, ensuring innovative, cost-effective, and high-quality technical solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver projects that enhance productivity, safety, and environmental performance. With a strong focus on financial management and stakeholder collaboration, you will drive success in every phase of project execution while adhering to Mondelez standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Development & Execution: Scope, design, and deliver capital investment projects aligned with Mondelez’s strategic goals.Technical Leadership: Develop state-of-the-art engineering solutions, optimize resources, and implement best practices.Financial Management: Accurately plan budgets, forecast cash flows, and manage capital expenditure using ERP systems like SAP.Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams including R&D, Manufacturing, Procurement, and more to ensure seamless project delivery.Vendor & Contractor Management: Evaluate tenders, negotiate terms, manage installations and service deliveries, as well as oversee and ensure safety and quality compliance for on-site activities.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity, safety, and quality across the factory.What You’ll Bring
Strong engineering expertise with experience managing capital projects in the food or FMCG industry.Background in mechanical or related engineering, with proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, project management software, and ERP systems.Proven project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and risk assessment.Ability to lead cross-functional teams and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.Knowledge of GMP, sanitary design, and safety standards.Preferred Experience
Familiarity with ATEX systems and hygienic design for food industry applications.Hands-on experience in risk assessments, procurement processes, and vendor negotiations.Fluency in English; Norwegian is a plus.Business Unit Summary
