Job Title: Project Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Professional Engineer to join our team in Greensboro. The ideal candidate should have experience with site civil design, expertise in storm-water analysis and design, and proficiency with civil engineering software applications. The projects are primarily privately funded and focused on residential, commercial, and industrial site design. This position will provide support and leadership for our current team and will report directly to management.

ResponsibilitiesManage and supervise site construction projects.Perform feasibility analysis, due-diligence, cost estimates, and budgeting.Develop grading and erosion control plans.Design and manage stormwater systems.Prepare and process local, state, and federal permits.Conduct land surveying and have a thorough understanding of the process.Effectively manage time and assign duties.Provide leadership and support to the engineering team.Essential SkillsBachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.PE License.A minimum of 5 years of land development experience.Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.Expertise in earthwork analysis and storm-water management design.Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.Ability to manage multiple projects and plan work efficiently.Detail-oriented with a professional attitude.Good communication skills and a team player.Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of local, state, and federal permitting processes.Experience in site development and land surveying.Understanding of grading and erosion control.Experience in feasibility analysis, due-diligence, cost estimates, and budgeting.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00
