Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity and will offer technical advice and solutions on inquiries from custom-ers/channels/Sales Specialists about ABB drives.Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excelence concepts in projects.The work model for the role is: hybrid This role is contributing to the Motion business area in Bogota, Colombia. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tPerforms analytic and diagnostic studies to determine the optimal technical solution to meet customer needs and address complex inquiries.•\tPrepares and delivers technical presentations and demonstrations for both internal staff and customers on complex product issues.•\tShares best practices and lessons learned.•\tPrepares and checks technical articles for publication.•\tEvaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineer-ing assignments.•\tProviding technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities.•\tAssisting in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects.•\tUtilizing checklists to perform design verification according to applicable standards and engi-neering guidelines.Our team dynamics You will join a dynamic, talented, high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electronics Engineering. You have 5 years of experience in electrical, mechatronics, or electronics engineering.(OPTIONAL: working as an electrical engineer with electrical panels, testing, and related technologies) You are highly skilled in electrical panel design or testing and the engineering market. Possess an enhanced knowledge of Excel. You are passionate about offering solutions and have strong problem-solving skills. You are at ease communicating in English.
