How do you excel in this position
In this role, you will collaborate with the Account and Project Management teams to design, develop, propose, implement, and analyze projects from concept to completion. You'll perform routine engineering design tasks, applying your technical knowledge of products and systems to create solutions that meet customer needs. Responsibilities include system design, material selection, field investigation, and construction administration. You will build strong customer relationships, prepare estimates for installations, and partner with sales to pursue new project opportunities. Additionally, you'll recognize cross-selling opportunities, lead client meetings, and ensure projects meet financial targets and schedules. You will also coordinate labor and resources, order materials, and ensure successful project completion by maintaining detailed records and adhering to specified requirements.
What are we looking for
+ Associate degree in related field required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
+ This role requires applicable experience in building controls, protective systems, lighting controls, A/V, or fire alarm system installation or service.
+ Proficient with time management to follow the various detailed phases of projects.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence is essential.
+ Strong Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Basic knowledge of AutoCAD related to preparation of construction documents.
Additional skills preferred but not required
+ Master's Degree.
+ Strong electrical or mechanical knowledge a plus.
+ Additional certifications (i.e. CEM, LEED AP, EIT, or PE) a plus.
