About the role
As part of our strategic expansion, we're seeking a Project Engineer to bolster our team. This position will assist in delivering maintenance work on the 132kv and 330kv transmission lines in NSW ACT. Works include pole and structure replacement, structure maintenance and rectification, conductor and OPGW installation/ replacement and defect repairs.
The Project Engineer will report to the Project Manager and be responsible for providing engineering expertise in the design, supply, installation and assembly of the project. including:
Review and plan the project with the Construction Manager to ensure technical aspects of job are clear and to become familiar with contractual arrangements made with client.Assess risks in construction to ensure safe execution and compliance with environmental and quality standardsLiaise with Construction Manager and co-ordinate and manage construction engineering activities to ensure timely, budget-friendly, and quality-driven project deliveryProvides a focal point for all technical based queries for associated subcontractors suppliers.Provides written reports on engineering activities as required by the Construction Manager.Prepares all Inspection and Test Plans and associated Project Specific Procedures.Ensure that the quality requirements of the client are adhered to and that company procedures are followedSupport pre contracts and assist with tendering when required.About You
