Job Description The management of projects, typically (but not exclusively) involving the development and implementation of business processes to meet identified business needs, acquiring and utilizing the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality. The adoption and adaptation of project management methodologies based on the context of the project and selecting appropriately from predictive (plan-driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Maintain a standard approach for project management
B. Start up and initiate project and manage stakeholder engagement
C. Develop & maintain project plan, manage project resources/work packages
D. Monitor & control projects and manage project quality & risks
E. Close a project or iteration
F. Develop detailed resource support/technical/operational specs & manuals
G. Identify & develop required processes & procedures for resources
H. Develop service & operational agreements for resources
I. Gain service & operational agreements approval for resources
J. Produce supporting documentation & training packages for resources
K. Manage resource process & procedure implementation
L. Manage resource operational staff training
M. Develop resource Supplier/Partner Operational support
N. Manage resource acceptance testing
O. Co-ordinate resource capability delivery and ensure capability quality
P. Configure, implement, and activate resources
Q. Defines, documents and carries out small projects or sub-projects (typically less than six months, with limited budget, limited interdependency with other projects, and no significant strategic impact), alone or with a small team, actively participating in all phases. Identifies, assesses and manages risks to the success of the project.
R. Applies appropriate project management methods and tools whether predictive (plan-driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches.
S. Agrees project approach with stakeholders, and prepares realistic plans (including quality, risk and communications plans) and tracks activities against the project schedule, managing stakeholder involvement as appropriate.
T. Monitors costs, timescales and resources used, and takes action where these deviate from agreed tolerances.
U. Ensures that own projects are formally closed and, where appropriate, subsequently reviewed, and that lessons learned are recorded.
REQUIREMENTS
Work Experience
1. 2+ years of work experience in Project Management
2. Solid in project / program management methodologies and tools
3. Proven track-record of executing large scale projects/programs
4. Solid understanding of technologies to manage dependencies
5. Ideally managed larger organizational / technology transformation projects
6. Experience in agile project management and track record of mentoring and coaching employees on their agile journey
7. Understanding of interfaces and E2E requirements to manage and leverage Tooling, Automation, Analytics
Level of Knowledge: 1, 3
● Level 2 – Experienced: 1-2 years of work experience in the desired / closely related area(s)
● Level 3 – Solid: 3-5 years of work experience in the desired / closely related area(s)

o Business Risk Management: Carries out risk assessment within a defined functional or technical area of business. Uses consistent processes for identifying potential risk events, quantifying and documenting the probability of occurrence and the impact on the business. Refers to domain experts for guidance on specialized areas of risk, such as architecture and environment. Coordinates the development of countermeasures and contingency plans.
o Methods & Tools: Provides support on the use of existing methods and tools. Configures methods and tools within a known context. Creates and updates the documentation of methods and tools.
o Project Management: Takes responsibility for the provision of support services to projects. Uses and recommends project control solutions for planning, scheduling and tracking projects. Sets up and provides detailed guidance on project management software, procedures, processes, tools and techniques. Supports programme or project control boards, project assurance teams and quality review meetings. Provides basic guidance on individual project proposals. May be involved in aspects of supporting a programme by providing a cross programme view on risk, change, quality, finance or configuration management.
o Requirements Definition & Management: Defines and manages scoping, requirements definition and prioritization activities for small-scale changes and assists with more complex change initiatives. Follows agreed standards, applying appropriate techniques to elicit and document detailed requirements. Provides constructive challenge to stakeholders as required. Prioritizes requirements and documents traceability to source. Reviews requirements for errors and omissions. Provides input to the requirements base-line. Investigates, manages and applies authorized requests for changes to base-lined requirements, in line with change management policy.
