Role Overview

Are you a hands-on Project Engineer with a technical background and a passion for delivering high-quality industrial installations? Our Customer Engineering team is looking for a proactive professional to manage and execute projects while ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance.

In this role, you will work closely with customers, logistics, and sales teams to deliver our industrial gas installations. You’ll take full ownership of your projects - from design to commissioning - while driving a strong safety culture and ensuring adherence to Air Products’ high standards.

Your Responsibilities

Project Execution - Lead and manage industrial gas installation projects from design to commissioning.

Safety & Compliance - Ensure all activities comply with Air Products’ safety standards and national regulations.

Budget Management - Track and manage project budgets using SAP to maintain cost control.

Operational Excellence - Deliver solutions that meet performance KPIs (capacity, temperature, pressure, etc.).

Stakeholder Collaboration - Work with internal teams (safety, logistics, commercial) and external partners to ensure seamless execution.

Continuous Improvement - Identify ways to optimize processes and enhance project efficiency.

What you will bring

✔ MBO Level 4 (technical field) or bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.

✔ 3 years of experience in project engineering or a similar role.

✔ Native Dutch speaker and fluency in English (English is our primary business language).

✔ Project Management Skills – Ability to handle multiple projects & prioritize effectively.

✔ Strong Communication – Confident in engaging with customers & internal teams.

✔ Ability to work under pressure – Thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have's

➕ Knowledge of cryogenic or hydrogen systems.

➕ Experience with SAP for project tracking.

➕ Familiarity with AutoCAD.
