Project Engineer - Agile & Custom to Order

We are looking for an Engineer to serve a dual role as the Scrum Master and proxy-PO (Product Owner) for the PDU module firmware development, as well will have the opportunity to act as the Project Manager for the PDU customization projects under the Configure-to-Order (CTO) process. This position requires a blend of agile project management, technical leadership, and strategic oversight to ensure the successful delivery of firmware development and customization projects.

What you’ll do:

 

Develop Strong PDU Knowledge:

Code and Standards

Act as a Scrum Master & Proxy-PO:

Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.)

Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize the product backlog

Ensure the development team adheres to Agile principles and practices

Remove impediments and foster a collaborative team environment

Track and report on project progress, ensuring alignment with business goals

Act as a Project Engineer:

Lead the PDU customization project, ensuring alignment with the Configure-to-Order (CTO) process

Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets

Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and operations

Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and executive leadership

Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices

Supervise industrialization activities with local teams and manufacturing locations

Qualifications:

 

5+ years of experience in firmware development, including acting as a Scrum Master for several teams

Bachelor’s degree in EngineeringSkills:

 

Working knowledge of Agile Application Lifecycle Management and development tools, including Confluence Wiki and JIRA. Experience with comparable tools is considered

Proficiency with Microsoft tools

Background/knowledge in data centers is a plus

Demonstrated organizational, communication (written and oral), and presentation skills

Ability to quickly grasp the high-level details of our technology products and projects

Motivated and trustworthy, with initiative, responsibility, and budget management skills

Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to keep an open mind, support, and motivate others

Proactive problem-solving, facilitating discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution

Scrum Master certification

Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is a must, French is a plus
