The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer - Airport Building Systems to join our team and work closely with our Subject Matter Experts. In this role, you will support the Senior Managers, benefiting from their expertise to quickly become familiar with relevant systems. Our team operates within a client-facing environment, offering daily interactions with clients and stakeholders, ensuring you are constantly engaged in a professional working setting.
As a Project Engineer - Airport Building Systems, you will take on significant individual responsibility for the quality of deliverables and coordination. While you will collaborate with Senior Managers from each of the parties involved, you will also have the autonomy to manage tasks independently. At times, you will represent the package on your own, engaging directly with contractors, clients, and stakeholders. This position provides an excellent chance to grow and develop your skills in a collaborative and supportive atmosphere while maintaining a high level of individual accountability.
This project is the first in a portfolio at the airport, allowing experiences and high-value relationships to carry over to longer-term opportunities at Arup.

To ensure that Arup can continue to deliver top-quality work, we are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
A minimum of 4 years of experience in Electrical Engineering and Project Management with exposure to systems integration Knowledge of Review of Contractor Design (DNR08 / Shop Drawings) Experience in reviewing Testing & Commissioning documentation and ability to witness testing and commissioning Experience in reviewing the contractor’s BIM model and drawings, utilizing skills in BIM360, Navisworks, and Aconex. Possessing clear communication skills, quality assurance, coordination skills, and good attention to detail Proficiency in both Dutch and English is requiredWhy Arup?
