Position: Project Engineer

Location: Tampa, Florida

 

We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our Civil Group.  A good candidate will be a motivated and hardworking individual who is looking for experience on exciting projects and wants to find a place to grow a career. This person will be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

In this position you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and can advance your career quickly into project management and client development duties. The Project Engineer will be expected to work with a Project Manager and other staff, to drive the design of a variety of Civil/Site Development projects.  In this position you will need to be able to think quickly on your feet and be an exceptional problem solver.  Candidate should have the ability and desire to work between geographic markets throughout the US.

 

Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering3+ years of experience in site development experienceLicensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Florida or ability to become licensed within 6-12 monthsPrevious experience designing site layouts, performing grading and drainage design and permitting of commercial, residential, industrial and/or revitalization site development projects, road design, utility design and hydrologic/hydraulic analysis is requiredAbility to work well independently or on teamsAbility to work well under pressureAbility to effectively communicate at all levels of the organizationAbility to effectively lead and mentor other staff
