Henkel Corporation, and its Fyfe® division, are looking for a Structural Engineer, Civil Engineer, or Construction Management graduate who is looking for a challenge supporting engineers and contractors in the capacity of Project Engineer.
Fyfe® is the leading manufacturer and designer of fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) systems for strengthening concrete, masonry, steel, and wooden structures, in addition to buried pipelines. Fyfe was originally founded in 1988 to strengthen deficient bridge columns in California for seismic events using aerospace materials. Today, Fyfe is recognized around the world as the pioneer of the FRP structural strengthening industry with over 40 patents in the field. In 2023, Fyfe was acquired by Henkel Corporation and today continues to serve the engineering and infrastructure community.
Fyfe manufactures and designs specialized carbon and glass fabrics combined with polymers for use in strengthening and rehabilitation projects. Fyfe focuses on designing these products for seismic and structural adaptive reuse and retrofit applications on school, hospital and commercial buildings and bridges. **Your Role:**
The Project Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the development and execution of projects. Primary responsibilities include the following:
+ Provide technical support to our structural engineering customers who specify the Fyfe materials.
+ Provide technical support to our contractor certified applicator customers who install the Fyfe materials.
+ Assist Business Development Managers (BDM) in developing relationships with the structural engineering community, become a trusted technical resource, a business partner, and then identify and develop business opportunities through follow up and meetings with these contacts/relationships.
+ Assist BDM team in the generation and qualification of leads and provide support with opportunity development.
+ Manage funnel, opportunities, contacts and accounts in the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system on select opportunities as requested by BDM team.
**What makes you a good fit:**
+ This position requires a **BS Engineering degree** in **Civil Engineering** , **Structural Engineering** (Architectural Engineering), or **Construction Management** .
+ A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience required.
+ Client focused and strong structural engineering and/or construction background. Previous experience as a project engineer, field engineer, design engineer, or sales engineer, is valuable.
+ A genuine interest in growing career in applications engineering or technical sales.
+ Competitive and achievement oriented.
+ Self-motivated and a self-starter.
+ Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) required.
+ Travel by automobile and airplane is required.

The salary for this role is $65,000.00 - $90,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
