Project Engineer

Position Overview

Strong candidates will have 3+ years of heavy civil construction experience as an assistant project manager, project engineer, estimator, or project manager.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the planning and execution of construction projects from start to finish.Assist the project manager and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate project progress.Support the project manager on RFI's, change orders, and submittals as neededUtilize project management software such as HCSS HeavyJob, P6, and SmartBuild for documentation and reporting.Estimate project costs and assist in budget preparation and monitoring.

Required Qualifications

3+ years experience in heavy civil construction or marine construction.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Excel and PowerPoint.Familiarity with project management tools such as HCSS HeavyJob, P6, and SmartBuild.
