Overview
We are currently recruiting a Project Engineer to work for a globally renowned OEM specialising in freight and passenger rail products and aftermarket equipment. Experience with IoT, software development or condition monitoring systems is highly desirable.

Location-        Adelaide, SA – relocation packages available from interstate
Duration-        Permanent
Salary-          $135,000 - $145,000 + Super

Responsibilities Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively. Lead electrical design and development for manufacturing projects. Develop and oversee electrical systems, schematics, and layouts for production processes. Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and industry regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, production staff, and quality control teams. Conduct troubleshooting, testing, and validation of electrical components. Implement automation and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency. Work with suppliers and vendors to source components and materials. Prepare detailed documentation, reports, and technical specifications. Required Experience Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, manufacturing, or design engineering.
