Job Description

Responsible for project technical and delivery on control and electrical systems through the planning, design, implementation, testing and commissioning phases. Work with project managers/business lead on planning, budget and scope.

On specific projects, may supervise a team of engineers in the execution of project delivery, which includes design, implementation, testing and customer-site commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

Overview

Technical and project engineering responsibility for projectsDevelop and commission control system projects by performing engineering application and programing specifications.Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial plants, etc.

Functional

Provide updates to project manager and Engineering Team Leader about status of activities, KPI's.Develop technical standards and procedures within the project contextContribute to project review process and give technical guidance on project related matters.May work on project cost estimates and proposals

Leadership

Depending on project complexity, may lead a team comprising of engineering staff of multiple levels of experience and responsibilityCoach junior engineers

Business

Work with project manager to lead technical execution for complex projectsMeet project schedule, engineering hour budgets, and customer satisfaction targetsBuild partnerships at a technical level of key customers.Must be commercially aware of the growth of selecting and delivering the project design and deliverablesMay present and develop technical aspects of sales proposals to customers.Follow all applicable corporate, company, governmental and regulatory procedures for this position.

Others

Ensure compliance to Ethics, Standards of Business Conduct, Safety, Information Technology and other RA policies and the relevant government regulations in the geography.Any other relevant duties as assigned by immediate Manager

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

REQUIRED INDUSTRY AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Typically 5 to 10 years' experience in Electrical, Control and Automation projects, which includes designing, consulting, implementing and commissioning.Have PLC, Drives, SCADA or any RA related products experience.Must have Project Management experience.Typically has broad application/technical knowledge relevant to assigned business teamMust understand industrial control systems (preferably Rockwell Automation solutions), IT/OT infrastructure, MESExperience with MS Office software products Excel, Word, Project, Visio, etc.
