**Description** We're seeking a dynamic **Project Engineer** to become a key player on our gas public improvement team. If you are passionate about engineering and public improvement projects, we encourage you to apply! **Responsibilities:** 1. **Review Plans** : Evaluate plans for public improvement projects and coordinate with government agencies and local organizations. 2. **Engineering Design** : Perform engineering design, calculations, estimates, studies, project management, and coordination of gas distribution installations and communicate design details to field personnel and contractors. 3. **Project Coordination** : Coordinate project timelines to ensure timely completion. 4. **Communication** : Facilitate internal and external communication to ensure project alignment and stakeholder satisfaction. 5. **Team Leadership** : Direct assigned engineers in completing project tasks efficiently, provide peer reviews for all deliverables to maintain high-quality standards, and Mentor and assist junior engineers in their professional development. **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited institution. + Minimum of 4 years of experience in natural gas engineering and utility coordination within public improvement. + Must have valid driver's license without restrictions for occasional travel to local project sites in the Houston area. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Professional Engineer (PE) License + Experience using Bluebeam, GIS, or Automated Utility Design software is a plus. **Not quite right for you?
