Responsibilities:

Review Plans: Evaluate plans for public improvement projects and coordinate with government agencies and local organizations. Engineering Design: Perform engineering design, calculations, estimates, studies, project management, and coordination of gas distribution installations and communicate design details to field personnel and contractors. Project Coordination: Coordinate project timelines to ensure timely completion. Communication: Facilitate internal and external communication to ensure project alignment and stakeholder satisfaction. Team Leadership: Direct assigned engineers in completing project tasks efficiently, provide peer reviews for all deliverables to maintain high-quality standards, and Mentor and assist junior engineers in their professional development.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited institution.  Minimum of 4 years of experience in natural gas engineering and utility coordination within public improvement. Must have valid driver's license without restrictions for occasional travel to local project sites in the Houston area.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Professional Engineer (PE) License Experience using Bluebeam, GIS, or Automated Utility Design software is a plus.
