Project Engineer I

What You Can Expect

The Project Engineer I is a critical role responsible for supporting development and installation of energy conservation measures and renewable energy at large scale public sector customers. You will support the build out of the Electric Vehicle/eMobility growth path at ENGIE for public sector, commercial, and industrial customers.

 

As a key member of our team, you'll design eMobility, Energy Conservation, and Renewable Energy solutions. Your responsibilities will include performing site audits, specifying equipment, and calculating savings for projects in both development and construction phases. You'll support energy efficiency and renewable generation projects that help local cities, schools, and counties become more sustainable, save money, and improve services. You will be involved from early development through post-construction. Additionally, you'll contribute to the growth of our eMobility footprint and support projects in Northern California and across the United States.

 

This position is located in Oakland or San Jose, CA.

Bachelor’s Degree with a focus on an engineering discipline Capability to handle multiple projects of moderate complexity at one time Creativity in solving problems where solutions are not clear Demonstrated ability to do complex quantitative analysis

 

 

Additional Details

This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy This role requires attendance at a worksite on a rotation basis Must be available to travel regionally up to 30% of the time with the need to travel to various client sites Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record; there will be use of company vehicle and/or needed ability to drive to site locations Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies This position may consist of up to 30% of outdoor work, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions

 

 

Compensation

Salary Range: $62,400 – $95,450 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
