Project Management & Execution: Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to established schedule and within budget. Understand project schedules, project management plans, and manage project staff to meet requirements. Formulate/develop detailed project reports. Understand project financials and report regularly to management on financial status and project performanceTechnical Leadership & Proposal Development: Provide interdisciplinary coordination for design engineering projects and serve as a technical leader to ensure project solution and quality goals are met. Work with technical staff to develop winning, highly technical engineering proposalsClient Relations & Marketing: Foster and maintain working relations with clients, acting as a single point of contact for assigned projects. Manage client interactions, negotiate and control project scope to client and company's satisfaction. Aggressively support marketing efforts, including identifying new opportunities, proposal preparation, and follow-up Qualifications Design Engineering experience with the modification and implementation process, calculations, specifications, etc. in power facilitiesMinimum of 5 years' experience in the nuclear or power industries as an Engineer or Project ManagerBachelor's Degree in Engineering (or a related field) OR PMP Certification and 8 years' applicable experienceAbility to understand and work with budget and accounting processesExcellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skillsEffective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teamsWorking knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointAbility to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sitesAbility to travel between 10-15% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks
