Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/  . **Department: MAKE Asset Management (MAM) Organization at Innovative Medicine Supply Chain (IM SC) Beerse** The MAM organization operates as one integrated team in the delivery of Engineering, Maintenance and Execution Systems activities. This occurs in a standard, coordinated and consistent manner in support of the current and future requirements of our Manufacturing & Technical Organization (MTO) and in conjunction with key partners, to create one integrated internal/external network. **The Role** Innovative Medicine Supply Chain (IM SC) is recruiting for a Project Engineer, Site Beerse. The Engineer will collaborate with the Engineering Design & Project Delivery Lead. The project engineer will scope and lead engineering projects in the pharmaceuticals manufacturing area (drug product), with primary focus in the optical inspection, device assembly, and secondary packaging area. Examples of projects include procurement, installation, commissioning and qualification of device assembly machines, packaging equipment and manual or automatic secondary packaging equipment/work centers. **Responsibilities** PROJECT LEADERSHIP + Project leadership of engineering projects, including obtaining agreement on project definitions and priorities and ensuring that resources, capabilities and processes are in place. + Establishes alignment with project sponsor and aligns core and extended team to deliver the final project objectives. + Prepares project intake, including scoping, case analysis, alternative assessment, presenting the selected option and alternatives for project approval. + Facilitates the project planning, tracking and reporting against project key deliverables and objectives. + Uses Johnson & Johnson standard project management methodology for Flawless Project Execution + Coordinates project finances: securing accurate budget allocation upon project approval and effectively managing expenses throughout project implementation and aftercare. + Responsible for all project engineering activities from early conceptual design to construction and qualification, including managing internal project resources and procurement of third-party contractors and suppliers. + Uses risk management methodologies to identify and manage risks to project objectives. + Ensures sound technical engineering concepts are applied in all tasks. + Reports out on project progress with all key stakeholders such as project sponsor, engineering lead, operations and quality departments. + Ensure compliance in all aspects of Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability (EHSS) per Johnson & Johnson standards. **Job Qualifications** + A technical education / degree in an engineering discipline is required. + 2 - 5 years of experience in a relevant field is preferred + Experience in device assembly or secondary packaging equipment is preferred + Experience within a GMP-regulated environment is preferred + Experience with the risk-based qualification methodology is a plus **This Is What Awaits YOU At J&J** + An opportunity to be part of a global market leader. + A dynamic and inspiring working environment. + Career opportunities and continuous personal and professional development in areas of technology and leadership. + Personal Development Plan – such as access to further education & training, mentoring and coaching, development opportunities on-the-job or through exciting projects. + Be part of a strong global network of talent and expertise, with opportunities to learn or move to different cultures and work environments. + Many employee benefits. + We are an equal opportunities employer.
