Job Description

Olsson’s rail traffic experts provide clients with a single resource for services such as traffic signal preemption design, grade crossing safety design, traffic operations studies, and other related services. As Project Engineer for the rail traffic team, you will assist with traffic and preemption analysis/design, perform site visits, assist with plan or study preparation, and work closely with others on complex projects.

Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to contribute and work well on a teamBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering4-10 years traffic or transportation engineering experienceProfessional Engineer (PE) LicenseProficiency in AutoCAD (or similar software)Proficiency in Synchro (or similar software)Strong problem-solving and math skills

Typical salary range for this position is $98,245 to $159,042+ and is commensurate with experience relative to the position.
