Job Title: Project Engineer (Roadway)
Job Description

The Project Engineer will be responsible for completing project tasks within deadlines and working within allotted project budgets. This individual will also assist with mentoring junior transportation staff. The most frequent and essential work activities include providing roadway design and project assistance to the transportation design group, ensuring the QA/QC process is followed, and communicating adequately with all team members. Additionally, the Project Engineer will market to NCDOT, SCDOT, and local municipalities to obtain new contracts.

Work will primarily be in an office setting with limited exposure to adverse environmental conditions. The role involves frequent use of fingers for picking, pinching, typing, and grasping, often with repetitive motion. Visual acuity for viewing a computer screen, the ability to talk, hear, and sit for extended periods is necessary. The ability to carry, lift, and push/pull up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally is required. Weekend, overtime work, overnight work, and travel may be required. Additional physical duties may be necessary.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $83000.00 - $105000.00
