**Overview** Kimley-Horn's Saint Paul, Minnesota (MN) office is seeking a Project Engineer with 15+ years of scheduling and estimating experience to join their Transit team! **Responsibilities** The Project Engineer will work on light rail and other type of infrastructure projects throughout the Twin Cities metro area and be responsible for supporting the owner in these tasks: + Negotiating and writing up change orders + Reviewing contractor’s cost (labor, equipment, and materials) and comparing it to the owner’s independent cost estimate (ICE) + Aligning scope and quantities + Negotiating final costs + Developing cost analysis + Creating detailed write-ups that include change order history, cost breakdown, etc. + Civil changes to: track, pavement, curb and gutter, utilities/drainage, bridges, soil corrections, stations, and more **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management + Engineer with 15 or more years of related experience + Systems experience a plus but not required + Close attention to detail + Technical writing skills + Ability to follow procedures + Demonstrated ability to manage projects + Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization Salary Range: $110,000 - $155,000 \#LI-JH1 **Why Kimley-Horn?** At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
