Project Engineer Supervisor

Job Purpose and Impact

The Project Engineer Supervisor will coordinate the overall technical engineering of build projects that are operationally efficient. In this role, you will supervise a team that executes a variety of medium complex activities with a focus on the detailed engineering design over a project lifecycle.

Key Accountabilities Supervise the execution of the area design packages in compliance with regulatory codes, area standards and specific technology needs.Develop the area scope of work to ensure project objectives, selecting, managing and directing the external service providers.Coordinate the development of the area estimates to track progress against estimates.Provide input from area disciplines and subject matter authorities to support the design to ensure it meets the specific needs of the business.Partner with regional and global leadership to identify work process enhancements.Prepare accurate and timely reports for upper management regarding status of project.Other duties as assigned

Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field or equivalent experienceMinimum one year of directly related work experienceOne year of project management experience 


Preferred Qualifications

Experience partnering with third party resources to deliver business resultsKnowledge of environmental health and safety standards and international standards and codes related to build projects and construction safetyOne year of supervisory experienceExperience using AutoCADExperience using SAP systemExperience managing project budgetsPosition Information This position is located in Hazleton, PennsylvaniaRelocation assistance will be provided for this position.
