At CESO, a Civil Project Engineer is responsible for performing the design and preparation of engineering construction documentation, specifications, and details for multiple projects simultaneously. They use their technical knowledge to actively participate in both internal and external meetings. You will have primary responsibilities that include: Primary Responsibilities Under the direction of senior team members, perform basic site design work on site plans and construction drawings to include site layout, grading, stormwater, roadway, and utility layouts using Civil 3DResearch of design criteria based on project scope and jurisdictional requirementsPerform site design calculations and analysis based on researched codes and regulations to apply it to assigned tasksProvide thorough and accurate documentation of calculationsCompare design options and document findings to produce detailed civil engineering studies and reportsReview technical and civil engineering drawing markups and make revisions accordinglyPerform practical application of civil engineering technology by applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various projectsEnsure effective civil engineering methodology is adhered to according to industry standardsManage workload assignments for departmental co-ops Attend internal and external client meetings Other project duties as assignedPosition RequirementsBachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Passage of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam is preferred3+ years of professional experienceProficient in the use of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, AutoTurn, HydroCAD, Microsoft Office Suite
