We have an exciting opportunity located in Poway, CA for an experienced Project Engineer within our US Marine Corps engineering sustainment group. This position supports the fleet of USMC aircraft, including systems deployed overseas. This engineering position provides technical support for fleet sustainment, upgrades, and development of new capabilities.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages sustainment of deployed aircraft and ground systems.Represents GA-ASI on surveys of overseas deployment sites, and demonstrations.Supports troubleshooting efforts, and information requests, from partners including executive leadership.Leads technical trade studies that feed into long range planning of system configuration, and technology roadmap.Guides internal engineering groups in support efforts.Directs the technical content of proposals and new business activities.Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
