Project Engineering Management, Staff Engineer

As Project Engineering Manager you will manage the different schedules, deployment status and tracking of the standardization initiatives related with the Digital portion of mixed-signal IP projects.
The successful candidate will work on a variety of project/task management activities.
What you will be doing:
Working on the ASIC Digital R&D team which is focused on developing the next generation High Speed interface products to meet the demands of the Era of Pervasive Intelligence. You will be working with colleagues across multiple geographies and your work will be instrumental on helping us deploying the cross product initiatives and gathering statistics on where we shall improve. Participate in complex block and/or chip planning and architecture studies.Create clear project scope documentation and milestone definitions Convene project kick-off and regular milestones tracking meetings with cross-functional teamsMaintain project plans and resource reportsCoordinate R&D team feedback during pre-sales customer engagements and review statements of workCoordinate Digital team initiatives and deployment status. Communicate with customers about technical issuesWork toward improving design efficiency and achieving highest possible quality metrics
Requirements:Requires a degree in Engineering or Applied Science (or equivalent)Requires 5+ years of experience in a customer facing and/or project management roleFamiliarity with Project Management and Planning tasksFamiliarity with UNIX operating systems, Jira, MS Project and MS ExcelGood written and verbal communication skillsSolid organizational skillsFamiliarity with the development process for ASIC designs.
