THE ROLE

Join our dynamic Power Projects team and be part of the exciting transformation in clean energy! We’re on the hunt for an experienced Project Engineering Manager to help drive multiple high-voltage transmission power projects. This thrilling opportunity is based in our vibrant offices in Hexham (NSW), North Ryde (NSW), Milton (QLD) or Melbourne (VIC) office.

In this pivotal role, you’ll partner with the General Manager to strategically manage resources and guide our talented Site and Project Engineers to excel within our expansive Transmission Line project portfolio. You’ll be the go-to expert for all things technical and quality-related, playing a crucial role in supporting both our ongoing projects and competitive bids. This is your chance to make a real impact in the clean energy sector.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

Assess resource requirements and work with project teams to provide Site and Project Engineers as needed. Provide technical or quality support for projects and bids as needed to meet business requirements. Provide coaching and leadership while maintaining effective communication channels with both direct and indirect reports. Create a client-focused team that collaborates with clients to understand and fulfil their needs. Consistently model positive behaviour and promote crucial aspects of Zero Harm when engaging with operational teams.

ABOUT YOU 

A bachelor's degree in Engineering is highly desirable, along with a chartered status. Proven and successful experience in project-based business, with exposure to HV power transmission or substations being a valuable addition. Demonstrated leadership abilities in coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
